Excellent! Though I disagree with your post about the LCD Soundsystem.
However, I won't hold this against you, Mr.Munn. We're a broad church, and all that. I've been meaning to add your blog to the sidebar on the right, and I've finally gotten around to it.
Re: LCD Soundsystem - some stuff I just don't get, dunno why - it's not a dig at people who do like their music. I mean, as a massive fan of the entire output of the Rising High label, I'm hardly in a position to make value judgements about sonic endeavours that don't grip my eras.
Thanks for the link btw - and check back for more inane chatter about the history of Acid House and random potshots at contemporary bands.
No worries. I think I should like Radiohead (angular, difficult, not that dissimilar to stuff I do like, e.g. Tortoise, Trans Am etc.) but it just doesn't do it for me...
I used to have a few vinyl LPs by his KarlHeinzBeanzness, and would have had an all-nighter in memoriam, but I realised my ex-wife stole them all in my acrimonious divorce. And she hated his music. Bitch.
That's a damn shame you won't get to have your all-nighter. Nothing like a bit of KHS to get the party started in our house. And then a bit of Iannis Xenakis when you want the guests to leave...
From Shakatak to Shostakovich, Ronnie Hazelhurst to Roni Size, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to NoMeansNo, Candi Statton to Candi Payne, Aphex Twin to the Andrews Sisters. MP3s, unsupported assertions and contentious drivel.
Please note, all music on the site is for evaluation purposes only. Play once and then delete! If you like it, go out and buy the CD or the download. Oh, and if you're the copyright holder and don't like free publicity, let me know in the comments and I'll remove it.

Well said.
For my own slightly less concise, more tangential and entirely superfluous tribute:
